Valley Industrial Trucks Earns MVP Status with MHEDA for Second Consecutive Year

Youngstown, Ohio – Valley Industrial Trucks has been awarded the prestigious MVP (Most Valuable Partner) Award for 2018.  This is the second consecutive year that Valley has earned an MVP Award from the industry’s trade association, MHEDA (Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association).

Award recipients must satisfy a rigorous set of criteria with less than 10% of the association’s membership earning the award.   As a 2018 MVP, Valley Industrial Trucks has successfully demonstrated a commitment to business excellence, professionalism and good stewardship.

To qualify for the annual MVP Award companies are required to provide evidence of their commitment to their partners in business including their customers, employees and suppliers.  They must satisfy criteria in the following important areas:

  • Industry Advocacy
  • Customer Service & Safety Practices
  • Business Networking
  • Continuing Education
  • Business Best Practices

“We are humbled to have earned this designation from MHEDA for the past two years” replied Jim Hammond, President of Valley Industrial Trucks, when asked about this achievement. He also added “but it doesn’t surprise me because all of our teams work very hard to provide quality, benchmark style service to all of our clients.” Hammond went on to say that Valley is a family style work atmosphere where everyone “has each other’s backs” and works together, between teams to achieve the overall company goals. He credits a lot of Valley’s success in the Mahoning Valley to people that really want to “do their best” to provide a great customer experience each time they have an opportunity to do so.

“MHEDA MVP winners represent the very best in dealership management,” said Buddy Smith, 2017 MHEDA Chairman of the Board and CEO of CMH Services in Columbia, SC.  “These dealers have demonstrated their commitment to excellence in all aspects of their business.”
